Custom Framing Services for Clifton Park, NY & the Surrounding Areas
We all have frame-worthy items that tell a story, but sometimes they are an odd size, or we’re not sure how to present them. They often end up getting tucked safely away - out of sight and out of mind. A concert poster left in a tube in the back of your closet, or your seashell collection in a box on a shelf. Collections of ribbons and medals hidden away in a shoe box under your bed, photos hidden away in books, and hard-won achievements in folders in your desk drawer.
Here at Truly Yours Custom Framing, we believe your favorite memories, mementos, events, and achievements should be seen and celebrated - remembered and shared! Our team will collaborate with you to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind showcases for your keepsakes. Once your keepsakes are protected and preserved in a frame, then you can begin to really enjoy them and share those good times with friends and family. Your spaces should be filled with the most meaningful artwork of all - artwork that represents you and tells your story. These treasured pieces will then serve as a constant visual reminder of the very best parts of your life!

FAQ
Do I need to schedule an appointment?
Do I need to schedule an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are always welcome during our regular shop hours, but you may have to wait if we have overlapping visitors. If there are scheduled appointments, those will always take priority over walk-ins. If we are not immediately available to help you, we encourage you to find an empty counter space and begin exploring design options on your own and we will help you as soon as we are able. Feel free to pull down some frame samples and mat corner samples and look at them with your artwork while you are waiting.
Can I just drop off my artwork or items and have you make a design choice for me?
Can I just drop off my artwork or items and have you make a design choice for me?
Unfortunately, NO! We have a “just-right” sized space with limited storage and this is one reason. Another reason is that these decisions are very subjective and everyone has different tastes and opinions. If you feel intimidated and just don’t know where to start, we are always happy to make some suggestions on design and we will educate you on best framing methods for preservation of your pieces, but the final decision is subject to your approval. We require a 50% minimum deposit on custom framing orders to be sure that you are in agreement with the final design choices before any materials are ordered and production begins.
What is your average turnaround time?
What is your average turnaround time?
We create your timeless keepsakes on a First-In, First-Out basis. Our typical turnaround time from the date you place your order to the date your piece is available for pickup is currently 3 to 4 weeks. This allows us time to order and receive your frame moulding, matting, and supplies, and allows us time to design and create your keepsake. Occasionally, an order can take up to 6 to 8 weeks if we experience back-order delays or other unforeseeable events that are beyond our control. These situations are unusual and we will keep open communications with you to ensure that you know all options available to you. We will give you an estimated date of completion, but please know that it is an estimated date, and it may not be done exactly on that date. We will reach out to you when your item(s) are ready for pickup. You can reach out to us if you would like an update.

Yes. We want you to be happy with your end result. We understand that custom framing can be a big investment and our goal is that you go home with a beautifully framed display that brings you joy and happy memories every time you see it on your wall. If some part of the finished project does not meet your expectations for quality workmanship, we urge you to please bring it to our attention right away so we can take immediate steps to correct it. If you have one of our framed projects and years down the road something goes wrong with it that is not due to your improper hanging or storage (say, for example, a print slips down and is crooked in the matting opening), we will fix it at no charge to you. If damages occur due to a move, or it falls and breaks because it was not hung properly, we can still help you correct those issues, but there will be a labor charge and charge for necessary materials if it is not due to our workmanship. We will be fair to you and want you to come back for future orders. We hope that you will tell your friends and neighbors about us when you are pleased. We hope that you will tell US when you are not pleased and let us fix it!

How much does custom framing cost?
How much does custom framing cost?
Pricing varies depending on size, materials, and complexity of your project. You might get an idea of pricing by using our Virtual Framer app and requesting a quote through our website. There are so many variables in framing that affect the final quote. If your project will involve time-intensive design or object mounting, these are factors that will increase your project cost. Some frames are more economical than others, and some glazing (glass) choices are more costly than others. If we provide you with a quote that is way out of line with what you envisioned, we may be able to have a conversation with you and guide you to a more affordable option. Our quotes are always free and we encourage you to stop in with your proposed project so that we can discuss your needs and budget with you.
